Returns, refunds, and exchange policy

The Palomar Observatory accepts the return of full-priced merchandise with the original receipt and tags attached for up to 30 days after purchase. All sales of clearance merchandise are final. Sales are final on specific items such as face masks, 200-inch laser-etched cube with light base all sizes, laser-etched crystal keychains, 1948 Palomar Observatory 3-cent postage stamp, wine glasses and shot glasses, stickers, telescope, glass tumblers, and postcards. Partial returns of multiple item promotions forfeit all promotional pricing. Any claims for items with manufacturing defect or damage caused by shipping can only be replaced with the original receipt and tags attached for up to 7 days after purchase. Any items with tape, shipping labels, or any adhesive such as stickers that can damage the packaging or item will not be accepted. The original cost of shipping is non-refundable. Claims made for overseas U.S locations (Alaska, Hawaiʻi, and U.S. territories) may be subject to fees and additional restrictions. Online purchases and phone orders

We do not offer online exchanges. You will need to return your item(s) and place a new order. Please contact the Palomar Observatory store during operating hours for more information.
